BREIFNE COLLEGE MOVES TO ZERO

Breifne College in Curragho, Co. Cavan is the latest school to embark on a Move to Zero thanks to specialised modular construction by our team at Mac Zero.

We delivered this 1,400sqm, two storey building from our production facilities to site this month for the final stages of the construction programme.

Our focus on early adaptation of net zero design and factory-controlled quality means our design for manufacture process runs concurrently with the grounds work team, reducing programme timeframe and disruption on the client’s site.

Manufactured at our site outside Dungannon, when completed the nZEB (nearly Zero Energy Building) building, which will house multiple classrooms, will deliver an EPC rating of A for energy usage, helping Breifne College ‘move to zero’.

This is the latest delivery in a range of educational projects that we’re helping to deliver low carbon solutions for.
